The scariest family in the musical world returns to the Teatr Syrena stage – this time in a rejuvenated version! Join us for a performance by the participants of the “The Addams Family. Young@Part” workshops.
Young@Part and Junior versions are original Broadway musicals, but shortened to about an hour and adapted to be performed by child and youth actors.
“The Addams Family” is a musical based on the cartoons by Charles Addams, popularized by Barry Sonnenfeld’s Hollywood films. Recently, we have been reliving the popularity of the Addamses thanks to the Netflix series “Wednesday”. During the workshops, we will be working on a musical based on the Broadway version, featuring its greatest hits: “Pulled”, “Death is Just Around the Corner”, and “Crazier Than You”. Artistic supervision over the workshops is provided by Jacek Mikołajczyk, artistic director of Teatr Syrena and director of the Polish premiere of the full version of “The Addams Family.”
