The audience absorbs the story with interest, since regardless of the ghostly topic, the show has a lively tempo, the music written by Mariusz Obijalski is catchy, and the actors create compelling characters. The best is the titular melancholic vampire, Przemysław Glapiński, and the nervous couple living on Plac Zbawiciela: Natalia Kujawa as Marta, and Marek Grabiniok as Łukasz, who are accompanied by Agnieszka Rose and Jacek Pluta playing multiple roles, e.g. the mischievous cat Eks, and Syrena’s music band. With his play, Syrena clearly situates itself in the local space, telling a story about events taking place just outside of the theatre doors.
