This musical’s history began with the 1988 film starring Wynona Rider and Christian Slater, known in Poland under the title “Śmiertelne zauroczenie”. It’s a story about a high school dominated by three girls named Heather. The story takes an unexpected and bloody turn when the school’s stars are opposed by the main character, Veronica, and her boyfriend, the outsider and rebel J.D. A musical adaption of the film was produced in 2010. Their creators used the original story, rock music and blunt lyrics to tell a story about the nightmares of adolescence. The show proved to be a gigantic hit on West End.
