The Friends of the Syrena Theatre are invited to every pre-premiere show or premiere (forthcoming shows in the near future: “Heathers”, “Beetlejuice”), which they can watch from seats marked with their names or company name. Additionally, they receive theatrical programs of our premieres signed by our actors and crew, and we also organize special backstage tours for our Friends.
If you are interested in joining the ranks of the Friends of the Syrena Theatre, please read the rules and regulations of the program and submit the special form found below.
Regulations of the “Become a Friend of the Syrena Theatre” program
I. Definitions and general provisions
Whenever the regulations mention:
- Regulations – it refers to these rules and regulations;
- Program – it refers to the “Become a Friend of the Syrena Theatre” program;
- Theatre – it refers to the Syrena Theatre, located at 3 Litewska Street in Warsaw (00-589);
- Agreement – it is understood as an agreement covering the provision of services by the theatre specified in Part IV of the Regulations;
- Fee – it refers to the payment covering the provision by the theatre of the services specified in Part IV of the Regulations;
- The regulations specify the terms for receiving the title “Friend of the Syrena Theatre”.
- The title “Friend of the Syrena Theatre” is given to a person, legal person or other organizational unit that signs a contract with the theatre and pays the fee;
- The title “Friend of the Syrena Theatre” is awarded for the period of two years since they day in which the payment was made (based on the date of crediting to the theatre’s account).
II. The method of concluding the contract and the fee
- A person interested in receiving the title of a “Friend of the Syrena Theatre” may send their application by e-mail to: promocja@teatrsyrena.pl or deliver it in person or by traditional mail to the address: Teatr Syrena, ul. Litewska 3, 00-589 Warszawa, using to the template provided in the appendix to these Regulations;
- The contract is concluded after the submission of a complete application and payment of the fee;
- The theatre begins to provide the services referred to in part IV of the Regulations after receiving payment of the fee to the bank account of the theatre indicated below;
- The fee is one-off and depends on the form of participation in the program (see part III of the regulations);
- The payment should be made to the following bank account: Santander Bank Polska S.A. 19 1090 1870 0000 0001 3153 4682
- The title of the bank transfer should state: “Przyjaciel Teatru Syrena”;
- The conclusion of the contract is tantamount to acceptance of the terms of the regulations;
- Submitting a complete application to the program is tantamount to confirming that the data provided in the application is true;
III. Forms of participation in the program
We offer three alternative forms of participation in the program:
- Bundle I – a one-time payment of 650 PLN
- Bundle II – a one-time payment of 1500 PLN
- Bundle III – a one-time payment of 18 500 PLN
Bundle III can be acquired by only one person in a given period. In case of more than one application for Bundle III – the order of applications is decisive.
IV. Benefits of participation in the program
The holder of Bundle I receives the following benefits:
- a personal acknowledgment on the theatre’s website and social media;
- a two-person invitation for every pre-premiere show;
- a plate with their name or company name on a seat in the audience;
- 15% discount on ticket purchases;
The holder of Bundle II receives the following benefits:
- a personal acknowledgment on the theatre’s website and social media;
- a two-person invitation for every premiere show;
- a plate with their name or company name on a seat in the audience;
- two theatre programs from premiere shows with autographs from the actors and crew;
- 15% discount on ticket purchases;
The holder of Bundle III receives the following benefits:
- a personal acknowledgment on the theatre’s website and social media;
- a four-person invitation for every premiere show;
- a plate with their name or company name next to the entrance to the theatre box;
- four theatre programs from premiere shows with autographs from the actors and crew;
- 15% discount on ticket purchases;
V. Implementation of a discount on the purchase of tickets.
Each package holder is entitled to a 15% discount on the purchase of tickets. The discount can be implemented based on the following rules:
- The person redeeming the discount must be the holder of a valid package;
- The discount can be used for every show in the Theatre’s program, excluding guest performances, premieres, and New Year’s Eve shows;
- The discount does not apply to the purchase of last call tickets for shows;
- Each package holder can purchase a maximum of two tickets at a discount price for one show;
- In order to use the discount, the package holder must send a request to purchase tickets with a discount by e-mail promocja@teatrsyrena.pl, indicating: the title of the show, date, number of tickets, and sector (sector I, II, or III);
- A request to purchase tickets with a discount must be sent no later than two days before the date of the show;
- In response to the request, the package holder will receive a link that can be used to purchase tickets with a discount;
- The purchase of tickets with a discount will not be possible for shows for which all tickets were sold before the request was submitted;
- The discount cannot be combined with other currently valid discounts.
VI. Processing of personal data
The processing of personal data in connection with the implementation of this contract is carried out on the basis of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (Journal of Laws UE.L.2016.119.1) – hereinafter referred to as GDPR.
The administrator of personal data is the Syrena Theatre, located in Warsaw (00-589) at 3 Litewska Street, NIP number 525-000-96-83, hereinafter referred to as the Administrator.
The Administrator has appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted via the e-mail address: iod@teatrsyrena.pl
The theatre collects personal data in order to:
- participate in the “Become a Friend of the Syrena Theatre” program and receive the title of a “Friend of the Syrena Theatre” – the legal basis for data processing will be art. 6 sec. 1 lit. b) GDPR, i.e. conclusion and implementation of the Agreement;
- install a plate with the full name or company name on the back of a seat in the audience, publish an official thank you note on the theatre’s website and social media – the legal basis for data processing will be art. 6 sec. 1 lit. a) GDPR;
- fulfil the obligations arising from the provisions of law applicable to the theatre, in particular in the field of accounting and tax obligations (e.g. issuing a VAT invoice) – the legal basis for data processing will be art. 6 sec. 1 lit. c) GDPR, i.e. the implementation of a legal obligation;
- handle complaints – the legal basis for data processing will be art. 6 sec. 1 lit. b) GDPR, i.e. performance of the contract (reservation and sale) and art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f) GDPR, i.e. the Administrator’s legitimate interest, which is the need to respond and consider complaints;
- send our invitations to pre-premiere or premiere shows – the legal basis for data processing will be art. 6 sec. 1 lit. a) GDPR, i.e. consent to the sending of promotional and advertising information to e-mail contact;
- establish and pursue claims or to defend against such claims – the legal basis for data processing will be art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f) GDPR, i.e. the legitimate interest of the administrator, which is taking actions related to claims.
The recipients of personal data may be, in particular, IT system providers, entities providing IT support services, hosting and e-mail services, postal or courier services (if parcels are sent) and advisers, including legal ones, as well as entities to which data is transferred on the basis of separate provisions in order to fulfil the legal obligations incumbent on the administrator.
Personal data will be processed for the period necessary to perform the contract / handle the complaint, and in the case of consent until its withdrawal. The period of personal data processing may be extended by the period of limitation of claims, if the processing of personal data is necessary to pursue claims or defend against such claims. Personal data processed in order to fulfill the obligations arising from legal provisions will be processed for the period resulting from these provisions.
VII. Contact and complaints
- A person who wishes to join the program, as well as its participant, can contact the theatre about the services provided on the basis of these regulations in the following ways:

- by email message sent to the address: promocja@teatrsyrena.pl
- by telephone: +48 22 10 11 602 (payable call according to the tariff of the operator whose services the caller uses)
- Participant in the program can submit a complain regarding the non-performance or improper performance of the services specified in the regulations;
- Complaints should be submitted via email to the address: promocja@teatrsyrena.pl;
- The complaint must include the full name, brief description of the problem, email address and telephone number, as well as – if the complaint regards payment – the date and number of the bank transfer;
- The theatre will respond to the complaint via email within 14 days;
- The theatre’s decision is final.
VIII. Final Provisions
- The Theatre reserves the right to change the offer of benefits resulting from the regulations;
- The language used in relations between the theatre and the program participants is Polish;
- In matters not covered by the regulations, the applicable law shall apply.
